Do you think Kaito and Yori ended up together? (I ship them so hard I just can't.)

Hi~

Well its hard to say. Hino gives us NO clarification for ANYTHING in the final chapter so everything is basically up for interpretation.

Like i said before, Yori has a fiance, shes had one since the beginning of the series. So its really hard to tell if she went against her parents wishes and just went off with Kaito. It IS a possibility, and Hino has given us no definitive answer, so i guess you can basically take what you want from the scene with those two together.

Im just not so much for it since I kinda sorta ship them, though Kaize (Kaito X Zero) has kinda become my OTP since Kaito is the only person i think is deserving of Zero ~

Hello. *waves* I just wanted to correct the manga text in your post, "The First Bite." Yuuki doesn't say "Zero... attacked me," she says, "All this... I'm so confused, but I know one thing for certain. I... hurt Zero." [What a jarring mistranslation. lol]

YES!! I thought that was totally wrong too. I could have sworn it was ‘I hurt Zero’ because that was what it said in the physical manga.

Thats why you have to be careful with manga that is online, they are usually being translated by fans or people that aren’t that on par with the language. So yeah, i totally remember it being that way.

The post was just something to kinda laugh at and also i wanted to show how Yuki usually didn’t listen to other people and yet in the end, thats all she did.

Is it just me, or did Hino try to put that Yuuki is HW's reincarnation? There's the strange comment fr Kaname that he will protect her (Yuuki) this time, why say this time if you're not saying in a way Yuuki is the current HW? If that's the case, it doesn't make sense, since Hino seems to go out of the way to show similarities between HW and Zero (both have similar features, both ride white horses, both powers are some sort of vines), out of irony or her own fantasy (she doesn't mind KanaZero).

Um i don’t think that she was at all. yuki is no way like the hooded woman in the slightest and i dont think Hino means to refer her to that at all. I think Kaname’s comment is about the past. He could be talking about how he couldn’t protect her when Zero bit her, maybe when she was a child he couldn’t protect her, or it could be from Rido. Also he originally wanted her to stay human so it could have been that too.

Yes, i always wondered why the hooded woman always resembled Zero so much. I wonder if thats why we never learned HW’s name. Also i wonder if somehow she is an ancestor of Zero’s, which could be possible who knows, that that is why the Kiryu’s were so infamous with their skills. Also, in a way the HW was kinda like a knight, wouldn’t you say?

Like i said, Hino certainly leaves more questions than answers.

Well it is said later on that pureblood blood is toxic period. So whether it be human or vampire, if they drink it they could possibly be killed. But here Kaname is talking about humans getting turned by purebloods. Hes talking to the chairmen about Zero.

Toxic pt 2

Okay let me talk a little more about this.

I kept re-reading this part because it is very confusing.

Apparently what Kaname is saying is that two things can happen when a pureblood vampire bites a human:

The blood is toxic enough to kill them
They slowly get turned into a vampire.

Okay i think we all understand part two, but i think the first one is a bit confusing. Kaname really doesnt explain whose blood he is talking about. Is he saying the pureblood’s blood or the own human’s blood that is turning into vampire…DNA? Im not too sure. Either way we never see the first one happen. T.T

And this just shows that Kaname’s plan…wasn’t well thought through. He let Shizuka out of her cage so she could kill Zero’s parents so Ichiru and Zero could grow up hating vampires to become perfect weapons. But…Shizuka could of easily killed the twins as well….its not like he told Hio his plans. Actually she WAS going to kill Zero if it wasn’t for Ichiru. And apparently he could have died anyway, just by being bitten by Shizuka.

Ummm……so i guess Kaname just got lucky….i guess.

((Also, didn’t like 90% of Kaname’s plan ride on Zero getting turned? That was the whole reason he had Rido kill Shizuka’s lover and the reason he set her free. But it was just… luck? The way it’s presented, it seems like something the purebloods can control.))

Well idk if he wanted Zero to get turned per say but he certainly needed zero to LIVE. He wanted both the twins to live to grow up hating vampires. And if it weren’t for Ichiru, Zero would have been killed. So yeah, Kaname’s plan wasn’t well thought through….at all.

Why is Yuki called the "Pureblood Princess"?

No. Not “just because it’s cute.” Hino played up this terminology the entire series, and it was unlikely that Yuuki would ever be referred to as Queen. That was Sara’s title. Kaname was the King, Zero the Knight. And the aristocrats were the pawns, etc., etc.

It would have made no sense for people to be calling Yuuki the queen right after she transformed back into a pureblood, because she was so ignorant about vampire culture during that time, and she was the youngest pureblood in the… world, I guess? Ergo, the title of princess suited her best, and was never changed because those particular metaphors are consistent across this series.

Was Zero ever referred to as a KNIGHT in the manga? At all? Nope.

This was just something cute to make Yuki someone special/important.

The fairytale of VK with Yuki as the princess, Kaname as King and Zero as the Knight is separated from the actual story.

Again, AGE does not have to do with being called a Queen or a Princess. *Needs to look up which queen was only 13*

I know people think that this picture means that Kaito and Yori ended up together, which it very much could mean that since Hino never really gives an explanation, but Yori did already have a fiance that nobody ever met, not even her. So it could very well be that she married her betrothed.

(I mean i kinda ship them but since she already had a fiance its just….god i hate that everything is just left to speculation uh!)
