Anonymous: Hi, I know this might sound dumb, but I can't see the difference in the fixed Elsa gif, and it's really bugging me. It's like a hyper-intense game of spot the difference that i'm losing. Can you tell me what it is?
I dont have my tablet plugged in right now, but I tried to do a little something
the gifs reference this: http://devinblake.tumblr.com/post/69431837523/fixed for anyone who doesnt know
I drew her braid where it would be behind her and pretended her braid was longer
see her braid starts out behind her, which she’s going to grab to pull in front of her. but when she grabs the middle of her braid, the end of her braid should start to climb over her back and shoulder like the 2nd gif
but in the 1st gif, the end of her braid doesnt start going over her shoulder, but automatically appears right on top of her shoulder - that’s because her braid clips through!
in the 2nd gif, you can see how her hair clearly goes OVER her shoulder! if you have long hair, or even a t-shirt or a towel, you can put it behind you and move it in front of you like the gif
sorry I couldnt be super intense with this but I hope this helps somewhat! ;;
unfortunately it actually appears through her shoulder before her hand even moves if you look at it frame by frame.
I mean just in the sense that she is flinging her hair around it probably should have made some air before even hitting her shoulder but i digress.
I’m certain, well i hope, for the DVD that they do change that ….unless they already have…
and even so, the animation isnt done correctly since this problem is represented. IF the scene IS done correctly it goes by SO fast that it ruins the action of the character and therefore isnt working in the movie’s benefit—-the movement goes by too quickly to know what i happening.
